I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over twelve years of experience. I work with individuals, couples, families, adolescents and children.
I have an MBA in Finance which I received in addition to my degree in Counseling Psychology. I worked in the corporate world for ten years before deciding to embark on a career in marital and family counseling. I believe my experience in business enhances my ability to assist people because it has broadened my life experiences.
Everyone struggles with change, loss and disapointment in our lives. We may desire to do something different but just do not know what that could be. We can have a tendency to get stuck in the same old patterns of how we approach our life and our relationship with others. Oftentimes, our old way of managing our problems and difficulties no longer works. We can then understandably feel anxious, vulnerable, frightened , angry and sad. We may experience a feeling that our life is just not as it should be.
We will work as a team to help you gain different perspectives and solutions. I provide a safe, nurturing and compassionate enviornment where you will feel understood and heard.
